This workshop will be going over the following subject matter:
Defining consent and understanding when its been violated.
Establishing safe words and knowing when to use them.
Negotiating a scene and setting limits and boundaries.
Exploring worse case scenarios while in a scene.
Looking at the advantages and disadvantages of private versus public play.
Understanding violence and the components of self defense.
Discussing self defense law and ethical decisions.
Connecting with professional and community support networks.
Peter Ajemian, owner and founder of Soja Mind Body in South Berkeley, has been training a multitude of traditional martial arts, healthy movement, and applied self defense programs for over 40 years. Peter enjoys customizing his knowledge base to a widely diverse set of clients ranging from large corporations to after school youth programs throughout the Bay Area. Peter believes that everyone has the right to defend themselves regardless of physical capacity or training experience.
